The Challange

A leading automotive Tier-1 supplier needed to verify a complex ADAS SoC containing multiple RISC-V cores, sensor interfaces, and AI accelerators. The design had to meet ISO 26262 ASIL-D requirements with strict functional safety standards and tight time-to-market constraints.

Our Solution

We deployed a comprehensive UVM-based verification environment with functional safety extensions. Our team implemented constrained-random testing, formal property verification, and fault injection campaigns. We developed custom verification IP for automotive sensor protocols and created automated coverage-driven regression flows.

Results & Impact

Successfully verified the SoC achieving 100% functional coverage and ISO 26262 certification readiness. The project was delivered 2 months ahead of schedule, enabling the client to meet their production timeline. Our verification methodology uncovered 47 critical bugs that would have been costly to fix post-tapeout.
